See Emma Watson and Dan Stevens as Belle and Beast in Live-Action Beauty and the Beast First Look
Ever since Disney announced the live-action Beauty and the Beast, fans have wondered what Emma Watson and Dan Stevens would look like.
Entertainment Weekly gave fans a first look Wednesday when it unveiled the cover of its newest issue, featuring Watson in Belle's signature yellow gown and Stevens as Beast. Missing, however, are Belle's gloves. The image shows the inevitable couple in the ballroom, dancing the night away before drama ensues. Watson stuns as Belle, and an unrecognizable Stevens has been given the animated character's horns and regal ensemble. His hairy legs and long hair are also on display.
"We tested a lot of yellows. It was just trying to work out the tone," costume designer Jacqueline Durran tells EW. "It's still made of silk, but it has a satin finish, so it's less transparent than other organza."
